Explaining Our On-Boarding Process
Here are the 8 steps involved in our onboarding process (along with the timeline):
𝟏. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭:
We usually sign minimum 6-month agreements.
𝟐. 𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 (𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲):
Right after you sign the contract, we send you your onboarding questionnaire that goes into everything we need from you to understand your company, your customers, your solution, and be able to create content that’s actually relevant and interesting to your prospects.
𝟑. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 (𝟏-𝟐 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬):
It generally takes people between 2-6 hours of focused time to fill it out—we need details! If you’re the founder, you might need additional input from different people in your company: marketing, sales, design, etc.
It usually takes customers 1-2 weeks to find this concentrated time. Please don’t take longer than that. If you send it over after 2 days, we can get started sooner.

𝟒. 𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥:
Once the questionnaire is fully filled out, we can have our one onboarding call. We’ll go over the questionnaire, log into your accounts (LinkedIn, Youtube, email software), you meet the team, etc. This call usually takes an hour.
𝟓. 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 (𝟏-𝟐 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬):
After we have everything we need from you, we start the onboarding from our end:
- designing your video templates
- optimizing your LinkedIn profile
- writing your outreach message
- building your ICPs
- defining your content pillars and recurring themes
- ideating your first batch of content and sending it over for review
𝟔. 𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝟐-𝟒 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭):
Once onboarding is complete, we have our first content recording session. Then we have a recording session every 2 weeks after that, starting the monthly retainer.
𝟕. 𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 (𝟏 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠):
After the recording session, we edit the videos, create the thumbnails, generate the captions, write the copy, in short, create your content.
Then you (or someone from your team) need to review and approve it. You’ll have all content for review generally 7 days after recording. If there are any changes you want us to make, you let us know. We do 2 rounds of revisions max.
𝟖. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝟏 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 4-6 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭):
Once the content is approved by you, we will schedule it to go live.
Normally the 1st video goes live on your personal LinkedIn profile 4-6 weeks from when you’ve signed the contract.
We post relevant videos to your other channels (Youtube and email newsletter) after a certain gap.
From there, we repeat steps 6 to 8 every 2 weeks to keep your content pipeline full.
