How to NOT be productive...

The other day I saw a woman working on her laptop with 2 phones mounted on each side.

It made me think about how obsessed we are with the idea of maximizing productivity.

It feels good to be busy and staying on the top of things, but the constant stream of notifications kills both for productivity and mental health.

So I’m currently restructuring my day:

- Keeping my phone on Airplane mode while working
- Turning off notifications (even the red dots on the apps)
- Having only 1 tab open at a time
- Checking Slack and email only twice a day

It’s helping me stay productive and peaceful at the same time.
