- “My advice is…”
- “Here’s what you should do…”
- “What I’d recommend is…”
No one likes to be told what to do.
After analyzing 100s of content pieces for our clients, here are a few phrases that we’ve seen work well:
- “What has worked for us is...”
- “Here’s what I’ve learned…”
- “Some best practices are…”
Most pieces of advice are context-dependent—

So when you frame your insights as the latter examples, people are more open to hearing it and seeing if it fits their situation.
