What Is the Ideal Length of a LinkedIn Video?

I hear this question a million times a year:

“What’s the optimal length for videos on LinkedIn?”

And my response has always been the same: It’s almost 100% irrelevant!

A video should be long enough to share your point clearly and concisely.

If it needs 30 seconds to give enough information about a topic your audience cares about, do it.

But if you need 5 minutes to take a deep dive into a specific topic, solution, or problem, then by all means, take all freaking 5 minutes!

*Don’t* shorten the video to 1-2 minutes because you won’t give complete information and leave your audience confused.

In short, an ideal LinkedIn video should be long enough to provide relevant information to the audience.
